La software house di The Wolf Among Us non riesce a stare a galla e affonda,

A sorpresa l’annuncio arriva per le 23.00 italiane, TellTale Games chiude definitivamente per difficoltà economiche.

Come scritto nel tweet TT ha deciso la chiusura con un licenziamento di massa salvo per un piccolo gruppo di 25 membri che rimarranno per finire gli obblighi con i vari partner. Stando alle parole del CEO Pete Hawley

E’ stato un anno incredibilmente difficoltoso per TellTale… Abbiamo rilasciato i nostri miglior contenuti questo anno e abbiamo ricevuto una mole incredibile di feedback positivi, ma sfortunatamente, non si sono tradotti in guadagni. Con il cuore a pezzi, guardiamo i nostri amici lasciarci oggi per diffondere il nostro brand di racconta-storie all’industria del gaming.

Ricordiamo che TellTale ha sviluppato tantissimi giochi story-telling con partner importanti come Marvel (con Guardians of the Galaxy: The TellTale Series) o DC (con Batman: The Enemy Within). Anche The Walking Dead tra i partner oltre che Minecraft Story Mode. Dei grandi sviluppatori dello storytelling vengono schiacciati da un’ industria videoludica sempre più difficile.
